BrewTools B80pro FULL SYSTEM BREW DAY – Traditional Bock

Home Brew Recipes
Running the complete BrewTools B80pro system. Set-up includes main unit, counterflow chiller, steam hat and steam condenser.

I skipped a few pieces of the video to keep it shorter, but if anyone wants a full walkthrough or has questions, let me know in the comments!

Here is the recipe I used for anyone interested. This is for a double batch, aiming for 2 x 23L in the fermenter:

Mash – 60mins at 65 Celsius, mash out for 15mins at 75 Celsius (40L water)

Munich – 5.5kg
Pale – 5.5kg
Carapils – 1.1kg
Special B – 700g

Boil – 75 mins (55L wort) (35% power, but ramped up to 40% half way)

Northern Brewer 6.5AA – 56g (75 mins)
Tettnang 3.4AA (30 mins)

Finished with 50L in the BrewTools.

I used SafLager W-34/70 in one FV and Mangrove Jack’s M54 in the other FV. Taste test to follow! Got 2 x 22.5L.

For the original, unadjusted recipe and extra details, check out Greg Hughes’ Home Brew Beer (aka “The Bible”). Great book.

Cheers! 🍻
