We’ve done a few of these types of ready made kits before but this time we opted to exchange the Simcoe hops from the kit with Columbus. We chose thess hops because of its bitter qualities and it’s a good substitute for Simcoe. It came out a lovely 6.2% ABV.
Because of the Columbus hop change, we dubbed this one “Evil Lazy Eye PA”!
There are hop selection guides everywhere online so read up on how Alpha Acids affect the taste and get swapping those hops!
