Munich Helles – How To Brew Beer

Munich Helles is always a favorite – a light easy drinking beer with a distinctive german character. But an accident in fermentation caused the beer to freeze before the yeast went to work. How will the beer turn out?

Recipe:
8 lbs 8.0 oz Pilsner; German
1 lbs Vienna Malt
4.0 oz Victory Malt
1.50 oz Hallertauer Pellets – Boil 60 min
0.50 oz Hallertauer Pellets – Boil 15.0 min
1.0 pkg Munich Lager (Wyeast Labs #2308)

Mash at 148F for 60 mins
Boil for 60 mins
