If you’ve been watching my channel for a while you might be expecting this video. Every August Coopers release their seasonal vintage ale, and soon after that the “Recipe of the Month” pack appears, so let’s get into it! Here’s the recipe:
1.7kg Coopers Family Secret Amber Ale kit
1.5kg Wheat liquid malt extract
1.0kg Dextrose
400g Dark Crystal (steep)
10g Sultana hops @25
5g Sultana & 15g Enigma hops @0 (25 min hop stand)
15g Astra, Cascade and Simcoe hops dry
Coopers commercial yeast culture (reactivated)
