Brewing an American Pale Ale using the brew in a bag method. IPA vs APA, what’s the difference?

This is the recipe I used for my 50L brewing kettle system which would likely need to be adjusted to work with yours.

Recipe for 23L:
– 31L tap water adjusted to BeerSmith3’s Hoppy water profile

– 3.2kg Pale UK 2 row malt (58.6%)
– 1.8kg Pale Maris Otter (33%)
– 310g Carapils (5.7%)
– 151g Melanoiden Malt (2.8%)

– 23g Magnum @30 min
– 50g Perle @15 min
-40g Perle @5 min
-16g Columbus @5 min
– 25g Columbus @ flameout with a 20 minute hop stand at 80°c

– Kveik Voss Yeast

Mash @ 67ºC for 60 mins
Boil for 60 mins

Original Gravity: 1.051
Final Gravity: 1.010
ABV: 5.4%
IBUs: 47
