If there is one alcohol free beer on the market that I can recommend to anyone, it is the Nanny State by Brewdog. It has the characteristics of an IPA, without the alcohol. The brewing of the full flavoured craft beer at 0.5% was not different than regular beer. I have used loads of Centennial, Amarillo, Columbus, Cascade and Simcoe hops for the boil and dry-hop. The beer is sitting at 55 IBUs! I have used 8 different specialty malts, including Munich, Caramalt, Crystal, Amber and Chocolate.
