Dopplebock | Sparge Arm | Homebrewing Beer

Beginner
We brew a German Dopplebock beer – but it took two attempts to get it right. Of which only one attempt left a physical scar. We also experiment with using a sparge arm with brew-in-a-bag recirculation.

Recipe:
12 lbs Munich II
2 lbs Pilsner; German
1 lbs Caramunich III
0.75 oz Northern Brewer – Boil 60.0 min
0.50 oz Tettnang Pellets – Boil 20.0 min
1.0 pkg Munich Lager (Wyeast Labs #2308)

Mash at 152F for 60 mins
Boil for 60 mins
