Easy Home Brewing – Mini Mash – S. S. Minnow Mild Ale

Beer Kit
Mini Mash, or Partial Mash are terms used when steeping a small amount of base malts and speciality grains to form a wort that will be combined with prepared malt extracts to make up the total wort. Partial Mash should not be confused with Partial Extract, which is an extract boil with some speciality grains added for color and flavour.

The word “speciality” can also be spelled “specialty”. They are both correct.
